Triumph of the Forsaken

Perhaps because this old general is a cynic at heart, I have never been one for glossing over what gets called in philosophy the human condition. In my experience as having not only been incarnated as a human, I can say firmly it is the sentient condition that affects every race that gets full awareness and conscious thought. It is from this I bring my own unique stamp to fantasy writing, based in part on my own past life memories.

From this comes Triumph of the Forsaken. Serialised in book parts, it follows Kylie Henderson, a young woman from our world into a parallel world when she picks up a magickal artefact long banished to our world from a parallel realm. This transports her to another world where magick developed instead of technology, the continents developed differently and humans live alongside other fey, gods who are advanced fey and non fey races.

Found initially by a grave robber by the name of Ghost, her presence creates the sparks of the biggest war in 2000 years when he tries to unsuccessfully sell the artefact the Rod of the Hhighan, to the right hand woman of the order, Iman. This act places Kylie in the middle of this war as being an 'Outworlder' she is the only one who can carry the rod safely without automatic detection. Thrown into a new world, Kylie has to rapidly transform and adapt, becoming someone new she never thought she could be and starting a new life.

Look for this book, serialised today for a new take on fantasy.
